Samiya Manocha

Samiya Manocha has a diverse work experience in various fields. Samiya has held the role of Director of Operations at Perfect Pair 501(c)(3) Nonprofit since 2023. Prior to that, they served as President of the University of Michigan Chapter of Perfect Pair from 2022 to 2023, where they led an executive board, connected with assisted living communities, and oversaw student/older adult matches. Samiya also served as Vice President of Programming for the University of Michigan Chapter from 2021 to 2022, where they organized activities for student/older adult pairs and created resources for volunteers working with older adults with dementia. Samiya has also worked as an Analyst at Impact Advisors since 2023. In addition, they have gained research experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Pearring Laboratory at the University of Michigan Kellogg Eye Center from 2021 to 2023. Samiya has also worked as a Psychiatric Care Worker at Michigan Medicine from 2022 to 2023 and as a Patient Attendant at Michigan Medicine from 2021 to 2021.

Samiya Manocha attended Olentangy Liberty High School from 2015 to 2019. Samiya then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Biomolecular Science at the University of Michigan College of Literature, Science, and the Arts from 2019 to 2023. In December 2023, they obtained the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certification from the Scrum Alliance.
