Serhii Mariiekha

Serhii Mariiekha has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as a Junior QA Engineer at INTEGRATED COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS, LLC, where they were involved in software development for scheduling and management of elevators. At Fox Sales Inc from 2011 to 2012, they worked as a QA Engineer on an e-commerce project based on Magento, focusing on compatibility testing and quality improvement.

From 2012 to 2013, Serhii worked as a QA Engineer at Trinetix, where they contributed to various web and mobile projects, including creating test stands for hardware devices and developing automated tests using Java and Selenium.

At MacPaw Inc., they had a dual role from 2013 to 2015, serving as a QA Automation Engineer and later transitioning to a Technical Operations Engineer and Go Engineer from 2016 to 2018. In these positions, Serhii performed testing activities, collaborated with the marketing department, and built and maintained fault-tolerant staging and production environments on AWS and Google Cloud Platform, among other responsibilities.

From 2018 to 2019, Serhii worked as a Go Engineer at Percona, where they designed and developed open-source Kubernetes operators based on the Operator Framework and worked closely with Kubernetes source code and core components.

From 2019 to 2021, Serhii served as a Technical Lead at SQUAD, leading the engineering team in designing and developing a high-load system for recognition issues with video. Serhii implemented industry-leading engineering practices and worked with various AWS products and services.

In 2021, Serhii held two Technical Advisor roles at InsightCat and Giggster. At InsightCat, they provided technical advice, and at Giggster, they focused on developing engineering expertise in DevOps processes and the Go programming language. Serhii also built continuous delivery processes from scratch and migrated a monolithic application to Kubernetes.

Serhii Mariiekha obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture. Serhii pursued this degree from 2006 to 2010.
