Sandesh Jayarama

Sandesh Jayarama has extensive work experience in the IT industry. Sandesh currently holds the position of Vice President - New Business Initiatives at Perfios Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd. since 2020. Prior to that, they worked at McKinsey & Company as a Digital Expert from 2018 to 2020, where they provided thought leadership and technology consultation for Digital Banking initiatives. From 2016 to 2018, Sandesh served as a Technology Advisor for Digital Banking at McKinsey & Company, where they were responsible for defining Digital Roadmaps and bridging the gap between business demands and technology capabilities.

Before joining McKinsey & Company, Sandesh worked at ANZ for a considerable period. From 2013 to 2016, they held the role of Solution Architect, providing architectural solutions in the Enterprise Payment and Transaction Management area. Sandesh also served as an Integration Architect from 2012 to 2013, where they introduced integration standards and devised solutions for legacy systems in the Transactive Banking Domain of ANZ. Sandesh further worked as a Solution Designer from 2010 to 2012, designing payment solutions and improving the Payment processing platform. Previously, Sandesh held the position of Senior Application Designer from 2009 to 2010, responsible for transitioning a vendor built application to the ANZ design and development team.

Sandesh's career at ANZ started in 2007 when they worked as a Service Designer, building Cash Processing & Routing platforms and mentoring newcomers. Prior to that, they served as a Software Engineer from 2005 to 2007, contributing to the development and maintenance of the Finacle framework. As an Associate Software Engineer from 2004 to 2005, they played a role in maintaining the ANZ website and developing various applications within it. Lastly, Sandesh began their career as a Project Trainee, successfully developing a Struts based Java web application and implementing a Continuous Integration Framework.

Throughout their career, Sandesh has demonstrated expertise in technology consultation, solution architecture, integration, design, development, and mentoring.

Sandesh Jayarama completed a PG Program in Management at the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad. Sandesh also graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer and Information Sciences from Visvesvaraya Technological University from 2000 to 2004. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained certifications in various fields, including credit tech, coin offerings, crowdfunding, payment technologies, Docker essentials, IBM Blockchain essentials, TOGAF 9 certification, and SAFe 4 Agilist certification.
