Katharina Schrapers is the co-founder and Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at PerformaNat since March 2015. Prior to this role, they were a Stipendiat at Akademie für Tiergesundheit from November 2014 to June 2016. Before that, they worked as a Research Assistant at Freie Universität Berlin from July 2013 to November 2014. Katharina also served as a Research Assistant at Leibniz-Institut für Zoo- Und Wildtierforschung from October 2012 to April 2013, and as a Research Assistant at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin from August 2010 to April 2013.

Katharina Schrapers completed their education in a chronological order. From 2007 to 2010, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biology, specifically in the field of study of Biologie, allgemein, at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Following this, from 2011 to 2013, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Organismische Biologie und Evolution from the same university. Lastly, they pursued a doctoral degree, Dr. rer. nat., in Biologie, allgemein at Freie Universität Berlin from 2013 to 2018.
