Chris Cheney

Chris Cheney (CHST) has over 15 years of experience in safety management within the construction and industrial sectors. Currently serving as a Site Safety Manager at Performance Contractors since December 2012, Chris has previously held positions as a Safety Advisor at UCI, where responsibilities included overseeing safety for oil and gas plant projects, and as a Site Safety Manager at Cajun Constructors, managing safety for large-scale projects. Earlier experience includes working as a Safety Technician at Petron Industries, focusing on safety for turnaround and maintenance in industrial settings. Chris is adept in conducting inspections, coaching employees on safety, auditing work environments, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Education was completed at Pine Crest High School.
