Elad Sherf

Elad Sherf has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Elad most recently served as the Global Head of MSS (XDR/MDR, MSS) at Performanta. Prior to that, they held positions such as Head of SOC & MDR, VP Threat Intelligence & Platforms and VP Threat Intelligence & Platforms at the same company. Elad also worked as the Global Head of Cyber Defence and Security Research Manager at Performanta.

Before joining Performanta, Elad worked as a Threat Intelligence Lead Consultant at Admiral Group Plc. Elad also served as Global Detection Lead, Security Research at Forcepoint and Lead, Sr. Security Researcher at Websense. Additionally, they gained experience as a Senior Threat Analyst at SurfControl.

In the early years of their career, Elad worked as a Senior IT Security Field Engineer at Ness Digital Engineering, where they specialized in installing network communication and security appliances for businesses. Elad also served as a Team Leader at Comunicom, leading the installation of network infrastructure for various businesses.

Elad Sherf attended Champlain College from 1999 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computers and Business Management. In addition to their degree, they obtained the certification in GREM Reverse-Engineering Malware: Malware Analysis Tools and Techniques from SANS in November 2010.
