Johanna Ashley

Johanna Ashley is a Clinical Pharmacist with extensive experience in both prior authorization processes and pharmacy management. Currently employed at PerformRx since July 2014, Johanna evaluates Medicare and Medicaid prior authorization requests, ensures compliance with CMS guidelines, and collaborates with healthcare providers on medication coverage issues. Prior experience includes serving as the head pharmacist at Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia, where responsibilities encompassed managing pharmacy operations, conducting drug utilization reviews, and mentoring pharmacy students. Additional earlier experience includes a role as a Relief Pharmacist at Target. Johanna holds a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from Wilkes University and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Duke University.
