Business Development Manager - East Africa at Periculum

Kiplang'at Tangaza has a wealth of experience in sales, business development, and customer relations. Starting in 2009, they worked as a Mobile Sales Consultant for Cfc Stanbic Bank, where they were responsible for compiling and analyzing socioeconomic data and advising clients on the best investment opportunities. In 2013, they became the Head of Sales and an Independent Sales Partner for GTeL Kenya. In this role, they were responsible for the organization's investments and management of balanced investment portfolios, as well as for the management, development and maintenance of a high performance team. Kiplang'at also sold accreditation and created daily lead sources. In 2017, Kiplang'at Tangaza became an Enterprise Account Manager for Computech Limited, where they developed and implemented specific customer account and opportunity plans supporting company goals and quota objectives. In 2019, they took on the role of Key Account Manager for Telkom Kenya, where they were responsible for resolving customer complaints, developing trusted advisor relationships, forecasting and tracking key account metrics, and researching and sourcing new potential clients. In 2020, they became a Regional Sales Coordinator for Pipeliner CRM, where they collaborated with senior executives to establish and execute a sales goal for the region, discussed open issues from objectives, business driving opportunities, volume drivers and competitive selling, and addressed potential problems and suggested prompt solutions. Finally, in 2022, they became a Business Development Manager for Periculum, where they demonstrated a strong understanding of the company's products and services, responded to RFPs and vendors, and developed sales in territories that hadn't bought the company's type of product line before. Kiplang'at also took on the role of Sales Director for Neeyamo in the same year.

Kiplang'at Tangaza's education history includes a Bachelor of Education - BEd in Physical Education Teaching and Coaching from Kenyatta University since 2017, a Diploma in Business Management from Kenya Institute of Management from 2008 to 2011, and an International Business Administration from United States International University - Africa from 2010 to 2013.
