Erik Schnetter

Erik Schnetter is the Research Technologies Group Lead at Perimeter Institute, a position held since November 2010. Prior to this role, Erik served as an Assistant Research Professor and faculty member at Louisiana State University and the LSU Center for Computation & Technology from 2008 to 2010. Erik's experience also includes a tenure as a Research Scientist at the LSU Center for Computation and Technology from 2005 to 2008, and a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Albert-Einstein-Institut from 2003 to 2005. Earlier academic experience includes being a Graduate Student at Penn State University from 1999 to 2000. Erik earned a PhD in Physics from the University of Tübingen, completing the degree in 2003.
