Jessica Muir

Jessica Muir is a distinguished academic in the field of physics and astronomy, currently serving as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Perimeter Institute since September 2021. Prior to this role, Jessica held the position of Porat Fellow at the Kavli Institute for Particle Astrophysics and Cosmology from September 2018 to August 2021. Jessica's educational background includes a PhD in Physics from the University of Michigan, where study commenced in 2013 and is ongoing, as well as master's degrees in astronomy and applied mathematics from the University of Cambridge, facilitated through the Marshall Scholarship. Earlier research experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at Michigan State University, focusing on cosmology and high energy physics, and coursework at Michigan State University leading to a B.S. in Physics with an emphasis on Astrophysics.
