Jorge Gonzalez-Outeirino

Jorge Gonzalez-Outeirino is an accomplished IT leader with extensive experience in information technology and security across various sectors, including academia and healthcare. Currently serving as the Director of Information Technology and Security at Perimeter Institute since May 2023, Jorge has held key positions at ATS - Automation Tooling Systems Inc. and previously at Perimeter Institute, where responsibilities included infrastructure management and support. Jorge's earlier roles include Director of ICT Infrastructure and Information Security at Wilfrid Laurier University, and significant positions within The Hospital for Sick Children and Syracuse University, focusing on high-performance computing and technical management. Jorge holds a Ph.D. from University College London and a Bachelor of Science from Universidad de Barcelona.
