Michael Serbinis

Michael Serbinis is an accomplished entrepreneur and technology leader with extensive experience in the healthcare and technology sectors. As the Founder and CEO of League since 2014, Michael has driven the development of a healthcare consumer experience platform that enhances engagement and personalization for users. Michael serves on the boards of several influential organizations, including Creative Destruction Lab and the Perimeter Institute, where Michael holds the position of Board Chair, contributing to advancements in theoretical physics. Additionally, as a Director at the Vector Institute, Michael is involved in pioneering research in artificial intelligence. Previously, Michael founded and led Kobo Inc., establishing a major global eReading service, and has held significant roles at Indigo, where Michael oversaw a substantial online business. Michael holds a BSc in Engineering Physics from Queen's University and an MSc in Industrial Engineering (Finance) from the University of Toronto.
