Salika Vummarao

Salika Vummarao has a diverse work experience, showcasing strong involvement in various organizations and roles. In 2021, Salika began as the Education and Advocacy Director for PERIOD. at UCF, a position they held until April 2022. From May 2022 to May 2023, they served as the Media Relations Chair of PERIOD. at UCF. In August 2022, Salika joined the Youth Advisory Council of PERIOD. At UCF and became a Pad Project Ambassador for The Pad Project. Salika also became a Student Health Advisory Council Member and a Student Researcher at the University of Central Florida. Additionally, Salika held positions at Honors Congress, including Volunteer Committee Member and Special Events Committee Member, and became a Team Captain for the Honors College Relay for Life Team for both Honors Congress and the American Cancer Society. Overall, Salika's work experience demonstrates their commitment to activism, leadership, and academia.
