Roel Garcia, OTR, OTD, ATP, is a Clinical Assistant Professor and Lecturer I at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, specializing in Adult Occupational Therapy Skills since January 2017. In addition, Roel serves as an Occupational Therapist at Periscope, conducting in-home medical necessity assessments. Previous experience includes providing outpatient rehabilitation services at ATS Advanced Therapy Solutions and adult home health services at Genuine Health Care Services. Roel also delivered pediatric home health services at Dedication of Care and directed Occupational Therapy at Stepping Stones Rehab. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Occupational Therapy from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions and a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from The University of Texas-Pan American.
