Mike Wang

Mike Wang joined Periscope Capital as an Investment Analyst in 2011. Mr. Wang is responsible for managing the Canadian convertible debenture strategy and developing and utilizing proprietary models for research and trading. Mr. Wang also develops portfolio construction solutions relating to the firm’s machine learning and artificial intelligence models. Prior to joining Periscope, Mr. Wang completed co-op work terms in the Alternative Execution Group at TD Securities and as a Prime Brokerage Associate at BMO Capital Markets. Mr. Wang earned a joint Honours Bachelor of Mathematics from University of Waterloo and Honours Bachelor of Business Administration (Distinction) from Wilfrid Laurier University. Mr. Wang is a CFA charterholder and has also completed the Canadian Securities Course and Trader Training Course.
