Ian Wood

Ian Wood is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in event management and social activities. As the Owner of Melbourne Social Club since December 2007, Ian has been responsible for promoting and managing various social and charity events. In the role of Managing Director at Fun, Food and Friendship since March 2006, Ian has overseen a range of corporate and social events, strengthening community engagement in Melbourne. Ian's diverse background includes experience as a Ski Instructor at Perisher Blue Pty Ltd, project management roles at Innovation Group and HUON/TiG, and a tenure as a Senior Analyst Programmer at IBM Global Business Services, focusing on insurance-based IT systems. Ian holds a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University and is affiliated with BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT.
