Richard Hocking is an experienced ski instructor and operations manager with a diverse background in environmental management and education. Currently working at Perisher Blue Pty Ltd as a Ski Instructor since June 2017, Richard also serves as Operations Manager and Trainer/Examiner for the Australian Professional Snowsports Instructors since June 2007 and has been a Nordic Ski Instructor at Kosciuszko Cross Country Ski School since June 2009. Previously, Richard was a Vegetation Management Officer for Snowy River Shire Council from May 2011 to March 2017, where responsibilities included environmental monitoring and community education on noxious weed control, and served as a Discovery Ranger at Kosciuszko National Park from 2011 to 2013. Richard holds an Honours degree in Environment and Society from The Australian National University and a degree in Resource and Environmental Management, focusing on various environmental science disciplines.
