João Pires

João Pires has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. João started their career as an Engineer at Dilufrio in 2004 and worked there until 2006. João then joined the Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Coimbra as a Laboratory Technician from 2005 to 2006. In 2006, they joined ILC Serviços Lda as a Field Services Engineer and stayed with the company until 2013. João then joined PERKINELMER LAS (UK) LIMITED, where they held multiple positions, including Field Service Engineer from 2013 to 2015, Field Service Specialist from 2015 to 2018, and finally Tech Support Team Leader from 2018 to 2021. Currently, they are employed at PerkinElmer and has held various roles since 2021, including Operational Excellence - Principal Program Manager from 2021 to 2023, Principal Program Manager - Global Operations from 2023 to 2023, and currently functions as the Principal Quality Operations Engineer.

João Pires completed their Bachelor's degree in Electromechanical Engineering from ISEC - Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Coimbra, from 2000 to 2003. In addition, they have obtained various certifications on LinkedIn, including becoming a Six Sigma Black Belt and a Six Sigma Yellow Belt, as well as completing courses on Lean Six Sigma, process improvement, root cause analysis, statistics, executive presence, project leadership, team management, business development, and program management.
