John Staskal

John "Eddie" Staskal is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in analytical laboratory instrumentation service and support. Currently serving as a Sr. Principal Customer Support Engineer at PerkinElmer, Inc. since January 2023, Staskal focuses on multi-vendor onsite service for various analytical instruments. Prior to this role, Staskal was a Sr LIS Specialist at CBRE from January 2018 to December 2022, providing instrument support and training engineers. Staskal's experience includes serving as an On Site Engineer at GE Healthcare, a Field Service Engineer at Agilent Technologies, and an R&D Chemist at Klockner Pentaplast of America. Staskal began a career in the laboratory field at Hydrite Chemical Co., progressing from Lab Technician to Environmental Lab Manager and Regional Lab Manager for Quality Control. Staskal holds a BS degree in Education/Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, earned in 1987.
