Kailey Martin

Kailey Martin is an accomplished professional with a strong background in biochemistry and molecular biology, holding a Bachelor of Science degree from Ursinus College. Currently serving as Technical Lab Services Leader and Scientist in Process Engineering & Analytics at PerkinElmer, Kailey supports drug product development through data analysis, experimentation, and novel study protocol design. Previous experience includes a role as Research Assistant and Laboratory Manager at Swarthmore College, where Kailey conducted biophysical characterization and crystallization research under Dr. Liliya Yatsunyk. Additional experience encompasses roles as Resident Advisor, Biology Tutor, and Biochemistry Undergraduate Research Assistant at Ursinus College, as well as participation in a COVID-19 Research Bootcamp at Rutgers Institute for Quantitative Biomedicine, where Kailey investigated the evolution of the Nsp5 protein in SARS-CoV-2.
