Mike Zmuda

Mike Zmuda has extensive work experience in the field of software quality assurance and testing. Mike started their career at Packard Bioscience, where they worked as a Product Support Specialist from 1998 to 2000. In this role, they provided technical support to customers and wrote technical articles.

Mike then joined PerkinElmer and worked as a Software Reliability Engineer from 2000 to 2006. During this time, they participated in the product development process, verified software functionality, and reported test results. From 2006 to 2013, they held the position of Senior Software Reliability Engineer at PerkinElmer, where they designed and implemented system level testing methods and plans.

After that, Mike joined Panduit in 2013 as a Senior Systems Test Engineer. Mike'sresponsibilities included testing software applications and developing test plans and scripts. Mike also led the automation team in automating test scripts.

In 2015, Mike returned to PerkinElmer and took on the role of Senior Quality Assurance Engineer. Currently, they hold the position of Principal Software Quality Assurance Engineer at PerkinElmer, where they continue to contribute their expertise in software testing and quality assurance.

Mike Zmuda holds a B.A. degree in Software Engineering from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. Mike also has an A.A.S. degree in Electronics Technology from Prairie State College. Furthermore, Mike has obtained additional certifications in Advanced SQL Program from DePaul University Institute for Professional Development, Internetworking Professional and Local Area Networking Professional from Learning Tree International, and Six Sigma Green Belt from PerkinElmer Life Sciences.
