Julie Laeace

Julie LaEace currently serves as Senior Pro Bono Counsel and Director of Social Responsibility at Perkins Coie since July 2023. Prior to this role, Julie was the Senior Manager of Corporate Social Responsibility at Cooley LLP from July 2022 to July 2023 and held multiple positions at Perkins Coie between March 2020 and July 2022, including Senior Client Relationship Manager. Julie has extensive experience in pro bono initiatives, having worked as Pro Bono Counsel and Global Pro Bono Program Director at Kirkland & Ellis LLP from January 2007 to March 2020, where responsibilities included overseeing the global pro bono practice and providing strategic direction for attorney training and development. Earlier positions included Business Development Manager at Baker & McKenzie, Associate Director at Northwestern University School of Law, and various associate roles focusing on employee benefits and labor law. Julie LaEace holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Economics and Public Policy from Indiana University Kelley School of Business and a Juris Doctor from Notre Dame Law School.
