Nelson Valdez

Nelson Valdez currently serves as the President of Professional Legal Trainers Group, Inc. (PLTG), leading efforts to advance legal technology and professional development training. Previously, Valdez held the position of Vice President of Membership at PLTG, fostering collaboration among legal application trainers in the New York metropolitan area. In addition to the role at PLTG, Valdez is a Technology Education Manager at Perkins Coie LLP and has been an Adjunct Professor at Mercy College since 2013, teaching courses in Mathematics and Computer concepts. Valdez's extensive experience at Greenberg Traurig, LLP spanned various roles including Learning and Development Manager and Knowledge Management Education Specialist. Beginning a career at The New York Public Library as an IT Technician, Valdez holds a Master's degree in Information Assurance and Security and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems from Mercy University.
