Tammy Higgins

Tammy Higgins has extensive experience in the financial and medical billing sectors, currently serving as a Medical Billing Specialist at Perkins County Health Services since October 2014. Prior to this role, Tammy worked as an Administrative Assistant at JBWC from 2009 to October 2014, where responsibilities included investment preparation, account maintenance, tax processing, payroll management, and financial statement preparation. Tammy began their career at Adams Bank & Trust in Ogallala, where from August 2003 to October 2009, the role of Lead Teller involved managing daily banking transactions and training new staff. Tammy holds an Associate's Degree in Business/Accounting from Mid-Plains Community College (2013-2016) and an Associate of Applied Science in Business and Management from the same institution (1995-1997), along with an earlier Associate’s degree from Paxton Consolidated Schools (1982-1995).
