Katherine Holland

Executive Director, Perkins International at Perkins School for the Blind

Katherine (Katie) Holland joined Perkins in 2019 as the Executive Director of Perkins International. She is a leader and manager with more than 15 years of experience in designing sustainable program strategies and motivating teams to achieve ambitious goals. Katie comes to Perkins from Women Deliver, where she served as Chief Operating Officer. In this role, Katie supported global advocacy for gender equality including the 2016 and 2019 Women Deliver global conferences and the four-fold growth of the annual budget and staff. Prior to Women Deliver, Katie spent more than 10 years with UNICEF in posts ranging from policy to management to health. She has also held positions at the Amani Children’s Foundation, Harvard University and the Hope for African Children Initiative. Her work has taken her around the world and across the African continent, and currently includes serving as a global advisor to Praava Health in Bangladesh. Katie holds a Masters of Public Administration in International Development (MPA/ID), from Harvard University, and a certificate in leadership from INSEAD. She is also a proud women’s college alumna and earned her Bachelor’s degree from Salem College, where she now serves as a Trustee.
