Brodie serves as our General Counsel, but views the law through an architect’s lens. He swore that he would never follow in his father’s footsteps and become an architect, but his drawing skills proved hard to ignore. Brodie earned an architecture degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and spent nearly seven years in design before embarking on a career in law.
Brodie’s background in architecture pushes him to be a better lawyer: He believes in promoting creativity in a way that doesn’t increase liability. He’s the author of one of the most seminal comparisons of architecture and engineering liability policies, and he’s given testimony at the state level on professional licensure and registration matters.
While his days may now be filled with legal jargon, Brodie still flexes his creative muscles and spends his free time woodworking and painting.
