Jessica Orlando, AIA, DBIA, WELL AP, currently serves as Vice President and Director of Programs for AIA Pasadena & Foothill since September 2022, developing and managing initiatives for the non-profit chapter. Orlando also holds the position of Higher Education Practice Leader at Perkins&Will while actively contributing as Past Chair of the Design by Diversity Committee for Architecture for Communities Los Angeles, where a notable event was organized to celebrate Paul Revere Williams in April 2022. Previous roles include California Higher Education Practice Leader and Senior Associate at AECOM, Chair of the Practice Committee at AIA Los Angeles, and various positions at SmithGroup and Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture. Orlando's early career involved marketing and design roles, including work as a Graphics Assistant for the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat. Education includes a Master of Architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a BA in Architecture and History of Art from the University of Pennsylvania.
