Dean K Miller

Dean K Miller has a diverse work experience, with a focus on safety and security roles. At Perkiomen Valley School District, they served as the Chief of Police and as the School Safety and Security Coordinator. Prior to that, they worked as a Safety Supervisor at the same company. Additionally, they were the Chairman of the Board and Fire Chief at Towamencin Volunteer Fire Company, and a Life Member, Firefighter, Assistant Chief, and Vice President at Collegeville Fire Co No 1. In Montgomery County, PA, they worked as a School Safety Specialist. Lastly, they served as a Senior Police Sergeant at the Lansdale (PA) Police Department until their retirement.

Dean K Miller obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Safety Administration from Neumann University in 2019. Prior to that, Dean attended Penn State University where they pursued various courses in Criminal Justice/Safety Studies, including POSIT, POLEX, Command and Leadership, and High Impact Supervision. Dean K also completed an AAS in Emergency Management at Montgomery County Community College. In addition to their formal education, Dean holds certifications in nationally recognized firefighting and fire inspection, safety and training officer, emergency management, Active Shooter Response (ALICE), and School Resource Officer (SRO) from ProBoards.
