James Lizamore

James Lizamore is a Senior Software Engineer at Perlego since December 2019, with previous experience as a Software Engineer at Aker Systems from February 2018 to November 2019. At Perlego, James has worked on a greenfield public government service, establishing fully automated CI-CD pipelines and utilizing AWS services for data pipeline setup through Terraform. At Aker Systems, James focused on platform engineering, enhancing automation, monitoring, and alerting, while also advocating for a DevOps culture. James holds a Bachelor of Science in Computing and IT from The Open University, completed between 2012 and 2017, and attended Makers from 2017 to 2018. Proficient in technologies including Python, Node.js, Postgres, and various AWS services, James also possesses skills in Linux, Docker, and Ansible.
