Tanya Nelson, MBA, SHRM-SCP

Tanya Nelson, MBA, SHRM-SCP has a wealth of experience in the fields of Human Resources and Accounting. Tanya began their career in 2004 as a Business Owner at High Mountain Accounting & Tax, LLC, where they started a new accounting/tax business in a high growth market environment and produced a profitable business sale opportunity. The business was sold within two years of formation. In 2006, they began working as an Assistant Controller at Idaho First Bank. In 2011, they joined Shore Lodge as an Accounts Payable. From 2012 to 2021, they worked at Midas Gold Idaho in various roles, including Human Resource Manager & Corporate Secretary, Corporate Secretary, Office Manager, Project Controller, and Project Accountant. Most recently, they have been serving as VP of Human Resources & Corporate Secretary at Perpetua Resources since 2021.

Tanya Nelson holds an MBA from Boise State University, with a focus in Finance/Accounting, which they obtained in 2001. Tanya also holds a Bachelors of Science from the University of Idaho in Environmental Science, which they obtained in 1998.
