Emily Wellard-Baring

Emily Wellard-Baring is a seasoned professional in philanthropy and non-profit advisory services, currently serving as Director at Perpetual Limited since February 2019, after holding the role of Senior Philanthropy & Non-Profit Services Manager. In addition, Emily serves as a Board Member for 350.org Australia and previously directed programs at the Cathy Freeman Foundation, focusing on education in remote Indigenous communities. Other significant roles include providing strategic advice to Solomon Islands Red Cross and managing community development projects with Bushlight and the Central Land Council. Early career experience includes organizing anti-corruption initiatives with Transparency Solomon Islands and conducting social impact research at RepuTex. Emily holds a Master’s degree in Applied Anthropology and Participatory Development from The Australian National University and has completed graduate studies in Applied Human Rights at RMIT University, alongside a BA in International Studies from the same institution.
