Angus Tait has had a varied career, beginning in 2015 with a role as a Food and Beverage Assistant at the Tracy Park Golf and Country Hotel. In 2019, they interned as a member of the University of Exeter Global Advancement Team, developing their ability in using data management software. In 2020, they undertook a Work Placement with the International Development Non-Profit Deki, as well as an 8 week internship programme with "Tianmei's World" Environmental Psychology Consultancy, where they were responsible for video editing and content creation. In 2021, they became a Programme Officer (Dissemination & Communication) and Programme Administrator at Cara Syria Programme, leading on an academic webinar series, facilitating engagement with programme participants, and supporting the development of the programme's communication channels. Currently, they are a Research Associate at Perrett Laver.
Angus Tait's education history includes a Master of Arts in Conflict, Security and Development from the University of Exeter, which they completed in 2020. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Exeter in 2019. From 2013 to 2015, they attended St Brendans Sixth Form College. Angus also attended Sir Bernard Lovell School from 2008 to 2013. In addition, they have obtained certifications from the University of Exeter and the LTA, including a Pathways to Charity and Development certification, a Level 1 Coaching Qualification, and a Competition Organiser certification.
