Sonia Hollies

Sonia Hollies has an extensive work experience in tax and financial management. Sonia is currently working as a Senior Vice President at Perrigo Company plc, where they oversee global tax, risk management, and treasury operations. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President and Chief Tax Officer at Conduent, leading the tax function during the organization's spin-off from Xerox. Sonia has also held senior tax roles at Xylem Inc., MasterCard, United Technologies, Purdue Pharma, and Crane Co. Throughout their career, Sonia has demonstrated expertise in tax compliance, reporting, and strategic planning, successfully managing tax functions and providing valuable insights to senior management and board members.

Sonia Hollies has a diverse education history with a focus on finance, taxation, and accounting. Sonia obtained a BBA in Accounting from Pace University in 1995 and later pursued an MBA in Finance and Taxation from Pace University's Lubin School of Business, which they completed in 1999. In 2006, Sonia earned an MS degree in Taxation from Bentley University. Sonia then continued their education in 2012, attending Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University, where they obtained a Masters in Accounting and Financial Management (MAFM) in 2013. Recently, in 2020, Sonia received a certificate in Business Analytics from Harvard Business School Online.

Additionally, Sonia has obtained various certifications throughout their career. Sonia became a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) through FIU Executive Education in 2022 and also holds the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), obtained in 2021. Sonia further increased their knowledge by earning a Diversity and Inclusion Certificate from the University of South Florida and a Post Crisis Leadership Certificate from the University of South Florida Office of Corporate Training and Professional Education, both obtained in 2021. Sonia also holds the Enrolled Agent (EA) certification from the Internal Revenue Service.
