Joan Esarey has extensive experience in healthcare quality management and home care services. Since June 2012, Joan has served as the Quality Management Coordinator at Perry County Memorial Hospital, where responsibilities include managing quality data across hospital departments and overseeing meaningful use chart abstractions and patient satisfaction initiatives. Prior to this role, from 1988 to June 2009, Joan held the position of Director of Home Care Services at the same hospital, managing all aspects of Home Health and Companion Care programs, as well as overseeing the hospice program for 11 years. Joan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Registered Nursing from the University of Evansville, complemented by education at Tell City High School from 1978 to 1982.

Perry County Memorial Hospital is a nonprofit, county-owned critical access hospital located in Tell City, Indiana. PCMH is a 25 bed acute care facility with an emergency department, surgery center, birthing center, and full range of outpatient services. PCMH offers four off campus clinics in surrounding communities. Our clinics physicians and nurse practitioners offer family medicine, occupational health, and specialties in OB/GYN, pain management and pediatrics. One of Perry County’s largest employers, PCMH employs over 315 people as well as additional partnerships with independent physicians and providers.
