Joshua Nagelberg has a wealth of work experience, beginning with their role as an Airman in the US Air Force Reserve in 1999. In 2003 they moved to AccuWeather, where they provided weather forecasts and customer service to hundreds of TV, radio, newspaper, and energy clients worldwide. Joshua also presented weather forecasts and severe weather updates to major radio stations and website users, and developed and conducted training seminars for the forecasting department. In 2012, they began working at AirDat LLC as a Meteorologist/Data Analyst, producing daily energy and tropical forecasts and providing daily quality assurance of weather sensor/flight data to regional airline partners. During this time, they also worked as a Soccer Referee, officiating in over 1000 games for 5 years. In 2015, they started their own business, Carolina Lightning Prediction LLC, where they sold, serviced and helped install weather warning systems and software for golf courses, schools, sports leagues, parks and camps, and industrial and government facilities. Most recently, in 2020, Joshua began working as an Account Executive for Perry Weather, a full-service weather technology firm based in Dallas, TX.
Joshua Nagelberg attended Scotlandville Magnet High School from 1995 to 1999. Joshua then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Meteorology, with a concentration in Forecasting and Broadcasting, from Penn State University from 1999 to 2003.
