Vassilios Karakoidas

Vassilios Karakoidas is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software development and engineering management. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Persado since October 2025, Vassilios previously held the position of Regional CTO (Vice President of Engineering) at Delivery Hero SE from August 2015 to September 2025, where expertise in scaling technical teams was demonstrated. As the founder of Wizhut, a software company active in research and development projects, and as a technology advisor for Ebakus Blockchain, Vassilios has significantly contributed to innovation in technology. Additional roles include senior software engineer positions at Pureprofile and Total Eclipse, along with leading architectural design efforts at Emaginal AG and Warply. Vassilios holds a PhD in Programming Languages, an MSc in Information Systems, and a BSc in Computer Science, all from prominent institutions in Greece.
