Gabi Bornschein's education history begins with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Pedagogy & Philosophy, obtained from Universität Erfurt in the period from 2009 to 2012. Following that, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Pedagogy at the University of Potsdam between 2012 and 2014. Most recently, in 2020 to 2021, Gabi attended Passion for Coaching, where they obtained a degree in Ganzheitlich systemischer Personal- und Business Coach, focusing on Systemisches Coaching.

In addition to their formal education, Gabi has also obtained additional certifications. In May 2021, they completed the Systemischer Personal & Business Coach program at passion for coaching - Academy for the Art of Coaching. Furthermore, in December 2021, they acquired the Scrum Master certification from Scrum.org.
