Rene Delgado

Rene Delgado has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. In their most recent role as a Sr. Infrastructure Engineer at PCI, they were responsible for pre-sales engineering tasks such as work breakdown structures and cost estimations. They worked closely with clients for technical evaluations and solution recommendations, utilizing Azure and AWS Cloud technologies. Additionally, they helped clients with their digital transformation using Microsoft modern workplace solutions.

Prior to this, Rene worked at Direct Technology as part of the IT Ops team, providing systems engineering support for a hybrid multi-tenant infrastructure. They were involved in building infrastructure for SaaS development teams, including the deployment of Windows VMs using VMware and Hyper-V.

Before joining Direct Technology, Rene was a member of the Student Leadership Team at Asher College, where they pursued certifications in Information Technology and Network Administration. They also participated in the college's PC clinic, offering desktop support to the community.

Earlier in their career, Rene worked at Intel Corporation as a Design Engineering Manager, utilizing program management methodologies to manage product design schedules and resource allocations. They tracked and resolved functional bugs using a ticketing system.

Rene's work experience also includes a long tenure at Freescale Semiconductor (previously Motorola Inc.), where they started as a Design Engineer and eventually became a Design Engineering Manager. They managed all aspects of product design activities, ranging from requirements gathering to testing.

Overall, Rene has acquired a comprehensive skill set in infrastructure engineering, IT operations, and program management throughout their career.

Rene Delgado's education history begins in 1978 when they attended the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez. Rene pursued a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Microelectronics, completing their degree in 1983.

In 2012, Rene enrolled at Asher College where they obtained Server/Network Administration certifications in Information Technology. Rene attended Asher College for a year, completing their studies in 2013.

Additionally, Rene has obtained several certifications in the field. In 2013, they earned the MCSA Windows Server 2008 certification from Microsoft. Rene also acquired certifications in Windows Server 2008 Network Infrastructure and Windows Server 2008 Active Directory from Microsoft in July and May of 2013, respectively. Rene's certification in Windows 7 Configuration from Microsoft was obtained in March 2013. Lastly, they obtained the Network+ certification from CompTIA in January 2013.
