Trudy Beyl has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Trudy began their career at The Standard Bank of South Africa as a Senior Commercial Accounts Officer from 1990 to 1995. Trudy then transitioned to The Design Corporation as an Operations Manager before joining Atcor (Pty) Ltd as an Operations Manager in 2000, where they worked until 2013. During their time at Atcor, they played a vital role in managing and maintaining the effective functioning of the company. Following that, Trudy joined The Institute of Bookkeepers as the Chief Operating Officer, overseeing the day-to-day business operations and leading strategy implementation. In 2017, they worked as a Business Services Contractor at Radiant Law and a Business Manager Contractor at Remote Exploration Services. Trudy's most recent role was as an Assistant to the Financial Director & MLRO at Personal Trust (Pty) Ltd, where they handled administrative duties and managed various tasks.

Trudy Beyl attended Empangeni High School from 1982 to 1986, where they obtained their Matric. Trudy then went on to the University of Natal, Pietermaritzburg from 1987 to 1989, where they earned a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Business Administration & Economics. In 1990 to 1991, Trudy pursued further education at The Institute of Bankers in South Africa and obtained an Associate Diploma in Banking. In addition to their formal education, Trudy Beyl was also nominated for the Boss of the Year award in 2008 by MTN SA & Dictum Publishers.
