David L. Davenport is an experienced professional in public policy and science communication, currently serving as Manager of Public and Science Policy and previously as Manager of Public Policy and Office Administrator at the Personalized Medicine Coalition since April 2015. Davenport has a background in advocacy, having volunteered as Legislative Coordinator and Local Group Coordinator for Amnesty International USA from January 2016 to August 2018. Experience also includes work as an English Language Teaching Assistant with the French Ministry of Education and as Principal Investigator in independent fieldwork and research. Davenport co-founded the Givology Spiders Chapter at the University of Richmond, holding roles as President and Treasurer from November 2009 to May 2013, and demonstrated entrepreneurial skills by founding David Davenport Chicken Farm, which received a $10,000 grant. Davenport earned a Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology from the University of Richmond.
