Tamara Bernadot is the Founder and Chief Nutrition Officer at Persona. Tamara has over fifteen years of experience in the food and nutrition industry. Tamara has held various positions such as VP of Purchasing, Director, and VP of Nutritional Development. In their most recent position, they were the Healthy Living Manager at Your Local Market.

Tamara has a passion for helping people live healthier lives. Tamara believes that everyone deserves access to nutritious food. Tamara is a strong advocate for healthy eating habits and has been working to promote healthy living through their work in the food and nutrition industry.

Tamara has a bachelor's degree in dietetics from the University of California, Davis. Tamara also has a master's degree in public health from the University of California, Berkeley.

Tamara Bernadot

Jason Brown is the Founder and CEO of Persona, a Nestlé Health Science company. Jason has been working in the health and nutrition industry for over 25 years. Jason started their career as the Founder and CEO of Custom Nutrition Services, which they ran for 5 years before selling it in 2004. Jason then went on to co-found Organic To Go, which they ran for 5 years before it was acquired by Golden Gate Global in 2009. After a 2 year stint as the SVP of Business Development for Asia/Pacific at Golden Gate Global, Jason decided to get back into the health and nutrition industry by starting Persona in 2017.

Since its launch in July 2017, Persona has motivated more than 1 million people to complete its free nutritional assessment to curate a unique combination of vitamins based on lifestyle habits, dietary preferences, exercise routine and prescription medication use.

Prem Thudia is the current Founder & CTO at Persona. Prior to that, they were with [Forbes Technology Council](/org/forbes-technology-council), and before that, they were with Persona, a Nestlé Health Science company. Prem has also been with BUSINESS CENTRAL and Your Local Market. Prem Thudia has been in the technology industry for over 10 years now.

Prem Thudia attended Hyderabad Public School, Ramanthapur before going to Osmania University. After completing their undergraduate degree, they went to the University of Missouri-Kansas City for their graduate studies.

Sandhya Jain is the VP of Project Management at Persona. Sandhya has also worked as a Major Gift Officer at The Shed, a Co-Curator and Exhibition Consultant at Citi Art and Archives Collections, and a Development Consultant at Room to Grow. Jain was the Inaugural Executive Director at Wrightwood 659 and Producing Curator for Ai Weiwei's Trace in Chicago.

Sandhya Jain's educational career includes a diversity and inclusion certificate program from [Cornell University](/org/cornell-university), two master's degrees from [New York University](/org/nyu) in Fine Arts Conservation and Art Sandhya'story, and a Master of Science from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey -New Jersey Medical School. Sandhya Jain is a certified fine art appraiser from the Appraisers Association of America and holds a certification in Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice.

Brad Schlicht is the current Vice President of Operations at Persona. Brad has also worked as a Purchasing and Production Planner at [Essentia Water](/org/essentia-water), a Logistics Manager at Your Local Market, LLC, and a Logistics and Warehouse Associate at SaltWorks, Inc. Most recently, they were the Director of Logistics at Organic To Go. In their current position, Brad is responsible for inventory management, raw materials procurement, shipping/receiving, processing, production scheduling, and product distribution. Prior to their work at Persona, Brad gained extensive experience in logistics and management, which they have used to streamline operations and improve efficiency at their previous companies.

Brad Schlicht has an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) from Bellevue College, a High School Diploma from Eastlake High School, and is currently attending Washington State University.

Prior to joining Persona, Agnes worked in both retail and community setting for years, which provides her with vast experience in dealing with people and the community. Moreover, through these years she has been giving training and managing community events. She just loves being around with people.

She graduated with a degree in Health Science in Nutrition.

Agnes Wong

Gina was always the care-free and playful kid growing up. Which is partly why no one expected her to struggle with an eating disorder in her early teens. After moving to a boarding school in Australia, she overcame her disorder and developed a healthy relationship with food. It was from this experience that she found her passion in Nutrition. At the University of Westminster in London, Gina focused in Human and Clinical Nutrition. Missing her mom’s Indonesian and Indian home-cooked meals, she strived to re-create those beloved recipes and found her love for cooking. After graduating, Gina moved back home and gained some experience in the nutrition and marketing world. Soon after, she started a nutrition consulting service and established her own brand of home-made nut butter. 

Gina Ailani

Angie is a Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist, passionate in helping others live wholesome, fulfilling, healthy lives. Shortly after graduating high school, she attended a community gym and it became natural for her to provide advice to other gym members on how they can improve their exercise performance with wholesome foods. This was the start of her nutritionist journey.

After searching for a program that aligned with her nutrition philosophy, she enrolled at Bastyr University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics.

After Bastyr, Angie combined her passion for travel while working on her MSc in Nutrition and Exercise Science at Leeds Beckett University in the UK, where she strengthened her research skills and experienced nutrition through a multicultural lens. She then completed her Dietetic internship at West Virginia University Hospital System, where she counseled patients on changes to minimize the effects of chronic illnesses.

As a nutritionist at Persona, Angie enjoys researching emerging science and developing proprietary supplement blends.

Angie Kuhn

Yaquelin's passion for health and fitness began at a very young age. Following her dad's footsteps, she trained in Mixed Martial Arts through her elementary and middle school years, and proceeded to compete in high school wrestling. Her father emphasized that to be the best athlete, one must also fuel their body with whole foods, she grew up eating a mix of traditional Mexican food and healthy recipes her father curated. Additionally, her family practiced alternative medicine, consuming teas, herbs and other supplements to feel better.

Yaquelin graduated from the University of Nevada Reno with her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition. A few months later she moved to Washington, to complete the dietetic internship in Seattle. During her time as in intern she shadowed many dietitians around the Seattle area, including WSU extension services, Rainer Rehabilitation Center, Providence Mt St Vincent, Sea Mar WIC and Outpatient clinics. She has counseled hundreds of patients from various backgrounds in different settings, led classes, and conducted lectures to professionals and the community.



Yaquelin Ramirez

Shirley's passion for health arose during high school athletics where she then realized the relationship between peak game performance and nutrition. After obtaining a Bachelor's of Science in Human Food & Nutrition with an emphasis in Sports Nutrition, Shirley was employed at the hospital in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in addition to screening adult patients for nutritional risk. Throughout her journey, she has learned that there are no one-size-fit all plans life continually shapes one's personal nutritional experience. To Shirley, there is nothing more gratifying than assisting someone in meeting both their health and personal goals while making everlasting connections.



Shirley Zheng

Sonya’s passion for health and wellness began in high school after struggling to lose weight. After many inexperienced years of trial and error, Sonya pursued her degree in Food and Nutrition.

After graduating, Sonya acquired professional experience working for a non-profit health clinic where she worked closely with patients for chronic illness management and health education for underrepresented communities. Sonya transitioned to a private consulting nutrition company where she coached clients for weight loss, building muscle mass, healthier lifestyles, prenatal/postpartum, and much more. With her hands-on experience working with a variety of patients and clients and her love for cooking, Sonya is committed to promoting long lasting habits for a healthier lifestyle without sacrificing flavorful or traditional food.



Sonya Carbajal

Natalie graduated from the University of North Florida with her degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. Natalie loves nutrition because she knows it is important to keep up her active lifestyle. 

After graduating, Natalie gained experience working in a clinical setting where she worked as a dietetic technician. She worked closely with dietitians and doctors to ensure the neonatal patients in the hospital were receiving adequate nutrition. She also gained nutrition experience within the community when she worked as a WIC nutritionist. Natalie is determined to share with others that proper nutrition doesnâ€™t have to be complicated!



Natalie Meriwether

Madison has worked in the supplement industry for the past few years as a Senior Nutritionist at a small, local business in Dallas Texas. She performed nutrition consultations addressing diet, lifestyle and supplementation, all while creating protocols based on extensive research review. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences from Texas A&M University.


Madison Landis

Mackenzie graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Science in Food, Nutrition and Dietetics. She has always had a passion for health and wellness and combining this with her love to help people led her to the perfect profession of becoming a Nutritionist.

Mackenzie's experience ranges from clinical nutrition, community nutrition and one-on-one nutrition coaching with all ages and demographics. She enjoys learning about nutrition trends and exploring new recipes in the kitchen. 


Mackenzie Propheter

Leah's love for food and exercise stayed with her. She played competitive club soccer all through high school, but it was her passion for baking that led her to a career in food science and nutrition. Leah credits her grandma for teaching her how to bake during the summers she spent on her farm in Iowa. In high school, Leah started experimenting with healthier recipes by substituting ingredients in her favorite baked goods. She was determined to make delicious foods healthier and that determination paid off. She was awarded a college scholarship for her initiative to create healthy cupcakes to help childhood obesity.

Using that scholarship, she continued her passion to help others eat healthier by studying Food Science and Nutrition at Central Washington University in Ellensburg, WA. After graduating, she worked in Research and Development at the world's leading coffee company where she tested upcoming food and beverage products. She has also led nutritional education programs in elementary schools and in professional workplaces. She is a strong believer that supplements are a vital need in a person's diet to support health and overall well-being.



Leah Keeney

Laura's passion for nutrition and fitness started at a young age. After several childhood illnesses, she saw how critical proper fueling and physical activity are for overall wellness. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Ball State and a master's in Health Sciences from Indiana State. Maternal and child health and infant nutrition are topics near and dear to Laura's heart, which led her to also become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). She spent over 5 years working with parents and children in community nutrition. Laura spent countless hours working one-on-one doing nutrition education with clients, developing community partnerships, precepting interns, and coordinating lactation education and promotion activities.



Laura Purcell

Kendall's passion for nutrition started when she was a competitive dancer in high school. She enrolled in dance class in 3rd grade and continued up until high school graduation. During competition seasons, Kendall had training 4-5 nights a week, and learned that fueling her body with the proper nutrients helped optimize her performance during practice and competitions. She later went to college to deepen her knowledge of nutritional sciences, which inspired her desire to help others learn the impact of health and nutrition. Prior to working for Persona, Kendall worked in the neonatal intensive care unit as a registered diet technician. During that time, Kendall provided adequate nutrients to infants and became well experienced in the clinical side of nutrition. She is very excited to work for Persona and integrate her experience from the hospital. 



Kendall Hess

Holly's interest and passion for nutrition and wellness began in high school when she first started experiencing several GI issues. After several years of these issues, she started working with a holistic dietitian that opened her eyes on how the food people eat impacts their health in so many ways. The more she learned about nutrition and wellness with the help of her own dietitian, the more passionate Holly became about wanting to take all this knowledge and science and help others that were struggling from similar issues.

Holly pursued her Bachelor's of Science in Dietetics at Michigan State University and then went on to complete her dietetic internship through Cal Poly San Luis Obispo out in California. Throughout her undergraduate career and internship experience Holly has completed over 1,200 hours of supervised practice in nutrition therapy, community nutrition, foodservice systems management, private practice nutrition, culinary medicine, and nutrition research. Holly also has experience working with food companies on the research and development side as well as the quality control side of things and loves how she can apply her nutrition background to both quality and research as well!



Holly Pelton

Hayley’s interest in nutrition began in high school when she took the initiative to research evidenced-based ways to improve her health. As Hayley’s knowledge of medical nutrition therapy expanded, the more she became fascinated with the relationship between food and the body.

Hayley pursued her passion for nutrition at Florida State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics. During her time at Florida State University Hayley sought various dietetic experiences and leadership opportunities to gain even more exposure and experience within the nutrition field. Hayley worked alongside the campus dietitian where she counseled students about proper nutrition and spearheaded the development of campus-wide wellness initiatives. Following graduation, Hayley completed the dietetic internship in Tampa, FL. During her time in the dietetic internship, she educated and counseled individuals in the clinical, wellness, and community setting. Hayley is devoted to ensuring she is an expert in her field and completed her Master of Science in Dietetics from the University of Rhode Island.

Hayley is dedicated to empowering individuals to achieve their nutrition goals. She is elated to work at Persona where she can continue to improve and optimize individuals nutritional health through evidence-based practices.



Hayley Miller

Gabrielle Kim's own passion for nutrition began while working in media relations for a humanitarian organization. Learning about the impact of poor nutrition and the benefits of an adequate diet, she decided to go back to school to earn her B.S. in Food and Nutritional Science. Gabby has worked at a mental health clinic providing nutrition education and counseling to help alleviate symptoms of anxiety, depression, and support patients in their recovery from eating disorders and chemical dependency. She has also taught cooking classes using balanced and simple recipes to support mood and energy.



Gabrielle Kim

For years, Courtney worked with many naturopaths and herbal experts to find ways to support her body. She began to develop a passion for natural healing and knew that a healthy diet was the key to healing many ailments.

Courtney graduated with her Associates Degree at the same time she graduated from high school in preparation to attend Bastyr University, the nation's leading alternative medicine school. Here, she began to expand her knowledge of holistic healing and whole foods.

After Bastyr, Courtney continued her education to earn her Washington State license as a Certified Nutritionist by pursing her master's degree. She graduated in 2017 with her Master of Public Health in Nutrition degree from Liberty University. This is where she discovered a love for community-level health intervention, and why she now secretly dreams of playing a role in health care politics one day.

Prior to joining Persona, Courtney worked as a wellness coach, nutrition consultant, and aerobic dance instructor with multiple group exercise certifications. She also worked in a mobile health care clinic, providing free health care to the uninsured. She enjoyed her experience working one-on-one with clients and loves watching people succeed in their health endeavors.

As a nutritionist at Persona, Courtney focuses on drug-nutrient interactions, research for supplement recommendations, developing supplement blends, and enjoys writing for the blog. 

Courtney Jackson

Claire, a Michigan native, graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics. After her first introductory nutrition course she was hooked; she enjoyed the challenge of learning the nutritional science and loved how she could help people improve their health and wellness with her work in this field.

Becoming a nutritionist has been a way for Claire to combine her passion for nutrition and people-centered skills as she has multiple years of customer service experience. She also loved how diverse the field of nutrition was and found a particular interest of hers was the environmental impact of food and food waste. She took initiative to complete a minor in environmental and sustainability studies and get involved with sustainability nutrition projects during her undergraduate career and dietetic internship.

During the completion of her dietetic internship at Ohio State University Claire gained additional skills in clinical nutrition, personalized counseling, program management, food service management and community nutrition.

Brandi has always been fascinated by the practice of pharmacy. 

With that idea in mind, she began her undergraduate career at the University of Tennessee. Brandi found an opportunity at a locally-owned pharmacy close to home and worked there as a pharmacy technician for the last 2 years of her undergraduate studies. Falling in love with the small town feel of working at an independent community pharmacy, she entered a pharmacy program with goal of becoming a small town community pharmacist.

At the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Pharmacy in Memphis, Tennessee, Brandi's studies focused on evidence-based medicine and offered diverse pharmacy practice experiences in both inpatient and ambulatory patient care. Her advanced pharmacy practice experiences include internal medicine, critical care medicine, infectious disease, sterile and non-sterile compounding, veterinary pharmacy, and independent community pharmacy. Throughout these experiences, she discovered a passion for patient interaction and patient education.

Briana graduated from the Mansfield University of PA with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics. Her years of customer service experience as well as nutrition education/counseling have granted her the tools to help others feel more confident navigating individual nutritional needs and achieve personal health goals.

Mark Southern has been working in finance for over 20 years, starting out at Microsoft in 1986. In 2001 they joined [T-Mobile](/org/t-mobile) as Director of New Product Introductions & Revenue Assurance. Mark left [T-Mobile](/org/t-mobile) in 2007 to join [Frontier Door & Cabinet](/org/frontier-door-and-cabinet-llc) as Chief Financial Officer. In 2014 they joined Guardian Security Systems as Chief Financial Officer and they are currently CFO at Persona.

Mark Southern pursued a Bachelor of Science in Accounting at the University of Alaska Anchorage.
