Joshua Scotton

Joshua Scotton has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2004 when they became the Owner of Alpha Business Software and Solutions. In 2008, they took on the role of Developer at Entertainer Media Center. From 2009 to 2011, they held multiple roles, including Events Officer and YPG Rep at BCS Derby and Nottingham Branch, PhD Candidate at the University of Warwick, and Teaching Web Application Development at Politehnica University of Bucharest. In 2013, they became a Professional Services Consultant at Syncron, followed by a Global Product Solutions Consultant role at Aimia Inc in 2015. In 2017, they took on the role of Solutions EMEA at True Fit Corporation, and in 2018 they became Co-founder, Product and Operations at Personify XP, as well as an Editorial Board Member at Frontiers in Artificial Intelligence - AI for Human Learning and Behavior Change.

Joshua Scotton received their PhD in Computer Science from the University of Warwick in 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Computer and Mathematical Studies degree from The Open University in 2008. Joshua has also obtained certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS) as an AWS Technical Professional in 2019, a Trained First Aider in 2017, Prince2 Foundation in 2015, and an Accounting Technician from AAT in 2008.
