Alex Figl-Brick

Alex Figl-Brick is a Lead Software Engineer at Personio since March 2023, previously serving as Software Team Lead at Smart Reporting GmbH from November 2019 to February 2023. With a strong background in both management and technical development, Alex has experience in leading software teams and coordinating with product teams to ensure project alignment. Technical expertise includes web frontends using React and TypeScript, as well as webservice backends with NestJS, Express, TypeScript, and Spring Boot. Prior positions include Manager of Software Development at Definiens, Senior Full Stack Engineer at Porch, and Software Development Engineer at Amazon.com, among others. Alex holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Northeastern University, along with an exchange year at J.F. Oberlin University.
