Kelsey Barton-Henry

Kelsey Barton-Henry serves as a Senior Data Scientist at Personio, focusing on creating reusable code in Python and SQL, alongside data management in Snowflake. Kelsey previously conducted doctoral research at the PIK - Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research, utilizing statistical methodologies and machine learning to evaluate societal responses to climate change. Other career highlights include designing data curricula at Ironhack, developing bespoke datasets and NLP detectors at AKTEK Ltd, and conducting statistical modeling at NPAW. Kelsey holds a Master of Science in Economics from the Barcelona School of Economics and is currently pursuing a PhD at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research after earning a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Middlebury College.
