Kim Covaci

Kim Covaci's work experience includes several roles in software engineering. They started at Yandex in 2010 as a Software Engineer Intern. They then worked at Oracle as a Software Development Engineer, where they focused on developing test suites for multithreading and class file generators. After that, they joined Era7 Information Technologies SLU as a Research Software Development Engineer.

In 2015, Covaci joined Zalando SE as a Backend Software Engineer, where they redesigned IAM services and built an integration with a data analytics vendor. They then moved to Wargaming, where they served as an Engineering Lead and helped the team switch to a new technical stack.

In 2018, Covaci joined SoundCloud as a Software Engineer, where they designed and built the Mastering on SoundCloud feature and created functional libraries for accessing data in BigQuery. They then moved to Spotify in 2021 as a Software Engineer, working on the Royalties and Reporting product area and contributing to initiatives such as data pipeline design and workflow orchestration.

Currently, Covaci is working at Personio as a Lead Software Engineer.

From 2007 to 2012, Kim Covaci attended Saint Petersburg State University and obtained a Specialist degree (equivalent to MSc) in Mathematics.
