Mrec Michelle Mellor

Michelle Mellor, MREC has had a diverse and extensive work experience. Michelle is currently a Non Executive Director at the Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC), where they represent the 3600 corporate members and works towards improving the standards and reputation of the recruitment industry in the UK.

Prior to this, Michelle was the Lead Signatory/Managing Director at Personnel Checks since 2004. As the managing director, they provided DBS checks and safeguarding solutions to organizations and individuals across the UK, ensuring the safety of society.

In 1990, Michelle founded Cummins Mellor Recruitment, an independent employment consultancy that sets new standards of excellence within recruitment services. Michelle served as the managing director and built a team of expert consultants who worked to a set of core values and culture.

Michelle also worked as the managing director at CJUK, an established Chef Consultancy based in Lancashire, since 1990. Michelle supplied Relief, Temporary, and Contract Chefs to the Hospitality and Catering Sector nationwide, ensuring clients' requirements were met with fully reference-checked relief chefs as quickly as possible.
