Richard Mellor

Richard Mellor has extensive work experience, starting their career as a Catering Manager at Compass Services in 1978. Richard later became the General Manager at Dunkenhalgh Hotel, where they successfully increased profits. In 1989, they worked as a Recruitment Consultant at Alfred Marks before co-founding three different businesses: Personnel Checks, Cummins Mellor Family of Businesses, and Cummins Mellor. Richard also co-founded CJUK, a recruitment consultancy focused on the hotel and catering industry. Throughout their career, Mellor has demonstrated a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a commitment to providing efficient and reliable services to their clients.

Richard Mellor's education history begins in 1968 when they attended Nelson Grammar School. During their time there, they pursued O levels. After completing their studies at Nelson Grammar School in 1973, they moved on to Nelson and Colne College. Richard studied Hotel and Catering Management and earned an OND degree from 1973 to 1975. Mellor then continued their education at The Manchester Metropolitan University from 1975 to 1978, where they focused on Hotel and Catering Management once again and obtained an HND degree.
