Perspectives Charter Schools
Nicole Gelinas is an experienced educator currently serving as a Special Education Teacher at Lexington Public Schools, where since August 2017, responsibilities include co-managing the Therapeutic Learning Program and overseeing an inclusion program for K-5 students. Simultaneously, Nicole holds the position of Assistant Dean at Perspectives Charter Schools since August 2013, focusing on resolving discipline issues and creating supportive behavior systems. Previously, as a Learning and Behavior Specialist, responsibilities included designing individualized curricula for students with varying disabilities. Nicole's early career includes serving as a Corps Member for Teach For America, chosen from a competitive selection process to enact change in Chicago's educational landscape. Academically, Nicole holds a Master's degree in Special Education from National Louis University and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Perspectives Charter Schools is a network of five open-enrollment middle and high schools committed to teaching a rigorous college-prep curriculum. They educate the student beyond the classroom to succeed in college and in life while empowering their teachers through a unique education model.
