Alvaro Diaz Chirinos

Alvaro Diaz Chirinos is an experienced operations supervisor at PeruRail since January 2016, overseeing the transportation of large volumes of copper concentrate via a bimodal system to the port of Matarani, Arequipa. Under Alvaro's leadership, the company transports over 5,600 tons daily with a unique bitrain unit system, optimizing mineral transportation. Prior to PeruRail, Alvaro served as an operations assistant at Concretos Supermix S.A. and held various project management and operational roles at Moran Distribuciones S.A., Empresa de Generación Eléctrica de Arequipa S.A., and Industrias Grupp EIRL, where responsibilities included overseeing clothing production. Alvaro holds a degree in industrial engineering from Universidad Católica San Pablo, earned between 2005 and 2011.
