Alan Willemssen has diverse work experience in the field of project management and technical support. Alan started their career at Citi in 1996 as a Technical Support Specialist before moving to Societe Generale in 1999. At Societe Generale, they continued to work as a Technical Support Specialist until 2004. Following that, they joined International Business Machines in 2005 as a Senior Technical Support Specialist and later worked at Mitsui & Co., Ltd. as a Project Management/Help Desk Manager from 2007 to 2010. Alan then joined Verizon Business, where they served as a Project Management/Help Desk Manager, providing technical support in their PMO/Outsourcing and Integrated Solutions department on a $100 million contract for Mitsui & Co., USA. Currently, they are working at Peruvian Connection since 2013, where they have taken on roles such as Information Security Compliance Analyst, Project Manager, and Help Desk L2.
Alan Willemssen obtained a Certification in Project Management from the Project Management Institute in 2011. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Commercial Arts from Southwestern Oklahoma State University, which they attended from 1982 to 1987. In addition to their formal education, Alan has obtained additional certifications in Network Security Administration from the Chubb Institute (Anthem Institute) and in Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.
